  • The AISSCE practical examination for class XII for science and commerce stream is going on in 1st week of february 2016.
  • The 2nd pre board for class XII Science and XII Commerce has been started from 04.01.2016.The FA-3 for class VI to X has been started from 05.01.2016 in the vidyalaya.
  • The study camp for class XII Science has been organized in the vidyalya from 24.12.2015 to 02.01.2016.Total 84 Students were stayed in the vidylaya and took part in study camp.

CMP Initiative

Minutes of First Quarterly Cluster CMP Meeting.

Cluster level CMP III quarter (2013-14) Meeting will be held on 06/02/2014 at 10:30am in this Vidyalaya.

The agenda for the discussion are as below:-

1- Review of Previous CMP meeting.

2- Review about preparation of Cubs and Bulbul Utsav.

3- Preparation/Revision plan for SA-II.

4- Planning for activities for new session 2014-15.

5- Any other issues related to CMP with permission of chair

 

CMP report

KVS is an autonomous body under the ministry of HRD, initially named as Central school.

The educational system is based on CMP which emphasizes on activity based learning without exerting any pressure on the children. Throughout the year there would be continuous comprehensive evaluation , thus the idea of learning without burden would be followed.

KVS introduced readiness programme under CMP for Class: I . special effort is made by the teachers to provide a conducive environment in the school with the given objectives:

  • To prepare the child for formal learning.
  • To develop a sense of belongingness & cleanliness.
  • To inculcate the habit of school routine within them.

A Workshop for the Primary Teachers will be conducted regarding various enriching topics like that of CCE, Action Research on reducing the weight of school bags, Presentation of Action song and Activity ,Counselling of teachers to inculcate Assertive behaviour among the students, Adolescence education and overall development of the students.

Under CCE, worksheets will be given to primary classes once in a month.

The Resource room will have develop more and many items for activities have been purchased and teachers are using them accordingly. Two computers, television, DVD player, OHP, Charts, maps, educational games and toys, teaching aids are also purchased to show films and lesson related information to the students.

  • Many different types of TLM are being purchased from the amount Rs 2000/- every month as per the requirement and they are used for the benefit of students.
  • In the beginning of the session, library books were distributed class-wise in bags for the school library and students are taking benefit of these books.
  • We have shown and will have planned to show film shows, educational CD’s and moral stories CD to inculcate moral values in life. This process will be continuing up to February 2013.
  • Some of the TLM like 3D charts, clay, crayons, sketch colours, chart papers, educational games etc, are also issued to the class teachers and other teachers as per their requirement.
  • Under CMP programme, every month, worksheets are given to each of each subject and a separate file is being maintained for the same.
  • Under CMP, Bal Divas will celebrate at the cluster level which included different sports and cultural activities. Community lunch will celebrate in December  and grand parents day will also be celebrated.

A weighing scale also has been purchased to check and monitor the weight of school bags being carried by the students.

The cluster level CMP meeting 2nd quarter held at KV CRPF Gandhinagar

2nd quarter CMP Meeting of Gandhinagar Cluster for session 2013-14 was held at KV CRPF, Gandhinagar on 1st November 2013 at 10:00 am.  The Meeting was chaired by Smt. Jamie James Principal KV CRPF Gandhinagar. Sh. Y.P. Singh, Assistant Commissioner, Ahmedabad Region, graced the meeting with his presence.  The meeting was attended by Dr. (Smt.) Nutan Punj (Principal KV No.  3,  Gandhinagar Cantt), Sh. V. P. Mishra (Principal, KV No. 1 Sector -30) ,  Mr. Hem Raj Naval (HM, KV CRPF, Gandhinagar), Mr. L. S. Solanki (HM, KV no. 3 Gandhinagar Cantt.)  Smt.  Indu Maheshwari (Head Mistress, KV No. 1 Sector 30 Gandhinagar), Mrs. Sharda Parihar (HM KV ONGC Mehsana) and Senior most PRTs from KV Himmatnagar: Mrs. Sunita Sharma and KV Dantiwada: Mrs. Harbinder Kaur.

    • Remark free notebooks and uniformity of notebooks.
    • Rationalize the black board work.

  • Skipping

b. CCA cultural :

  1. Group dance
  2. Group song
  3. Rangoli
  4. Fancy dress .

c. Cubs & bulbul utsav :

  • Jungle play
  • Poster making . More items will decide later on.

Note: There will be quarterly CMP Cluster meeting in which all Local Principal ,HM , sr.most PRT of the schools of Gandhinagar Cluster sit together anddo planning for CMPActivites and functions.

2012-2013

Innovative ideas are as under :

1.Community Lunch – Theme wise Different classes are assigned different states for the occasion to highlight the cultural heritage of our country. Competitions are held for best cuisine,best traditional dress and best cultural programme based on the state.

2.Mother`s day Celebration –As the mother is the first teacher of the child and a primary teacher is an extension of the mother, this celebration gives an ample opportunity to have informal  and healthy discussion between mothers and the teachers  that can help to improve the performance of the students  in studies and other fields at both ends.

3.Quiz Competition to make the students aware of the rich cultural heritage  and also to make them proficient in such events

4.Circulation of PPTs of different subjects and topics on “Thinkquest.com”

5.Projects to improve English Communication Skills – (a)Learning one new word with meaning daily and preparing dictionary.

(b)Learning one proverb/quotation daily

(c ) Preparing two minutes speech (in English) to deliver in morning assembly/language class.
